What We Do
As Lifestyle Medicine physicians, we focus on the underlying root cause of disease by utilizing evidence-based lifestyle medicine interventions to prevent, treat and frequently reverse chronic disease processes. These chronic diseases can include hypertension, elevated cholesterol levels, Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, obesity, gastrointestinal issues, autoimmune conditions, cancer as well as many other disease states.
We focus on individualizing each patient’s care…there is no one-size-fits-all care. We incorporate multiple evidence-based lifestyle change modifications including a predominantly plant-based diet specific to your needs with only limited supplements, exercise recommendations, sleep regulation, stress reduction and mental health well-being as well as referral for substance use/abuse.
We will work in collaboration with your primary care physician and/or specialist physician(s) from an evidence-based lifestyle medicine perspective to further improve your overall health and well-being.
Our goal at Lifestyle Medicine Transformation is to work with you to incorporate healthy lifestyle modalities, and ultimately for you, to become a more active participant in your health care management.
As Lifestyle Medicine physicians, we specialize in the management of preventing, treating, improving or reversing all types of chronic disease processes. We do this by placing you on a predominantly plant-based diet, with special attention to your particular medical needs. Though we do utilize some supplements, such as Vitamin D3 and Vitamin B-12, we do not over utilize them in your care and management.
Additionally, we incorporate other important modalities in your treatment plan such as exercise, sleep management and mental health and wellbeing, to complement and enhance your nutritional outcome. Furthermore, we will work together with your primary physician and your specialty physician(s) to optimize your care. Our goal is to assist you to become primarily responsible for your own wellness.
